Welcome Jasmine Villegas To The Buzznet Family!

Hey young world ! I'm officially part of the Buzznet family. This will be my new website where you can find my new pics, videos, quotes etc on a daily basis. For those of you who don't know me I'm an 18 year old pop/urban singer originally from the Bay Areaaaa and I now live in LA. I have been singing since I was 8 years old. I started out when I was 9 years old in acting and modeling when I won a Hawaiian Tropic competition that led me to sign with an acting agency and move to LA from San Jose.  I then began booking many commercials, acting, and modeling jobs. I started out my singing career performing for high school shows and charity events. From age 11 until age 15 I performed 200 days out of the year, sometimes two to three shows a day. I also performed the national anthem EVERYWHERE. At one point they called me the national anthem queen. I've sang the anthem for many professional boxing fights such as 3 Pacquiao fights and most recently Floyd Mayweather fight, Clippers, Lakers, Dodgers, Miami Heat, La Galaxy... and the list goes on and on :) When I was 15 while singing the anthem for a Pacquiao Fight, Manny noticed me and got a hold of my team and helped manage me in the Philippines. Manny put me on a tv show called GMA7 which help launch my career in the Philippines. 

Right before turning 16, I came back to the US and got signed to Sony. It was cool but to be honest, it was my fans that really pushed and promoted me and together we were able to achieve a large online success.  I'm proud to say that I have over 63 million views on youtube and over 1.1 million twitter followers. I'm #8 most powerful woman on twitter and #10 most powerful artist. My amazing fans called the JASMINATORS are completely responsible for all the success I have had so far! Their level of support has really been unexplainable! They trend something for me worldwide on twitter at least once a week. My fan base translates above just an online following. In May of 2012, I did a show in San Francisco, CA and so many of my fans showed up we shut down the mall. It was one of those defining moments in my life where I knew I had a real fan base and that we aren't going anywhere.  

In 2010 I was asked to be the lead girl in Justin Bieber's Baby video and soon after that he asked me to join him on his My World Tour. That was so much fun performing in front of so many people and meeting people from all across the US and also Canada. Since then I have put out a mixtape that you can find here!

I'm also the face of Sephora/TKDK for 2012 and I'm getting ready to release another music video to my song "Didn't Mean It". I'm now getting ready to go to NY in July to record my album! The plan is to have the album in stores by Sept. 2012 and then I'm going to hit the road and tour the world. I also plan on going on a college tour in the Spring of 2013. 

Sorry I hope that wasn't too much information all at once :) At the end of the day I'm still a simple girl living out my dreams but the difference now is I have a family of over a million Jasminators that are also living my dream with me.
